Tet-Emtron are pleased to announce the appointment of their new European dealer.
TET-Emtron now has a range of six metre antennas. They are made with the same excellent quality that you come to expect with the TET-Emtron name. Each antenna comes complete with all mounting hardware and includes a high power “Collins” co-axialcurrent balun.
TE6RD
The TE6RD is a broadbanded rotatable dipole that can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Therefore you can use it for SSB or on your local repeater.; It is light and easy to take portable if desired.
The TB-41 is a 4:1 ratio balun designed to be either mounted on a vertical like the TEV-1, or hanging in the middle of an off centre fed dipole. It is broad banded to work from 80 through to 10 metres, and retains a low VSWR.
The box is made of fiberglass reinforced strong plastic that is UV stable, and with the stainless hardware, it is designed for long life.
It can be used with the bracket kit Balbrack Kit to mount to the TEV-1.

TEV-1 8.5 METRE VERTICAL RADIATOR
The “TET-Emtron TM” model TEV-1 is an 8.5 metre vertical radiator, made in 6 x 1500mm sections.
All stainless steel hardware and rugged aluminium construction guarantee long life and trouble-free operation. It can be mounted at ground level or elevated to any height above ground or a roof.
The antenna is all predrilled and by following the instructions, you will find that the antenna is simple to assemble.
Many options can be utilized for feeding this antenna. Popular uses are:
With an auto tuner (SGC-237 or Icom AH-4 style).
Using a 4:1 Balun at the feed point and a tuner.
Feeding it through a 4:1 Balun and 450 Ohm ribbon in an ‘L’ style and a tuner.
Also available, a Bracket kit for mounting Baluns.
