This is the original design that we made to use with a tuner like the Icom AH-4 or the SGC237. There is nothing wrong with this antenna, it is just the older style where the stainless steel extension is held in with a grub screw and not screwed on with a 5/16 thread like the newer model. Also The spring is light duty and would be described as "around town use".
Comes complete with Allen key, cap, 1 metre of HT lead, eyelets and glue lined heatshrink.
